about

“Remedies” sets the stage, with Moshe stepping into the unknown: “How I got here, I can’t tell… Found no traces,” as gently-plucked guitar and strings blossom around her. The song was inspired by a collaboration with one of Israel’s most beloved poets, Agi Mishol, and examines feelings of isolation after experiencing trauma — and the satisfaction of survival that
can follow. The song’s video, which Moshe dreamt up and co-produced, illustrates the push and pull of these emotions. She awakens in a tower, free from time and space, but a presence from the past holds her back. By the time she sings “I’m more alone than I appear,” it’s not a plea, it’s
a proud declaration.

Lyrics //

How I got here
I can’t tell
Found no traces

How was I allured to lose my power
Why was no one watching from the tower
From the tower

How I got here
Can’t recall
What was blinding

Everyday I pull some more from under
Battling for little drops of wonder
Oh the wonder

I’ve no room for reveries
Just feed me all your remedies
I’m more alone than I appear
Can you teach me how to disappear

Love I seek your eyes throughout the blur
